Elevation Panel
As the culminating experience of the Elevation accreditation program, each chapter must engage in a thirty-minute Elevation panel. This panel allows chapter leadership to demonstrate critical thought through articulating the process of goal setting, areas of success, opportunities for growth, and skill development as a result of engagement with the Elevation accreditation program. Panels will occur in-person in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Conference Room (LSC 144); chapters may opt into virtual panels as desired. Please note that failure to participate in an Elevation panel will result in the chapter being unaccredited. Attached to this email you will find a detailed overview of Elevation End of Panels.
Elevation Panel Structure
Using the link provided below, your chapter will select a time to engage in a thirty-minute Elevation panel. At the start of the panel, your chapter liaison will initiate introductions between you, whomever you choose to bring (i.e. incoming president, vice president, executive board members), and the faculty/staff panelists. From there, it is your responsibility to lead conversations about your chapter’s engagement with the Elevation panel criteria above. Chapters that are successful in their Elevation panels take around five minutes to address each Elevation panel rubric criteria, which can be found here. It is vital that each Elevation rubric criteria is fully addressed. Panelists may ask clarifying questions about the rubric criteria but the responsibility to provide information addressing the rubric rests upon the chapter engaging in the Elevation panel.
